PICTURE FRAMING
Starting July 1, 2010 SWARTS DESIGN CO. will officially be offering a Custom Picture Framing service. Also included in the repertoire will be canvas stretching, dry-mounting (up to 32″x 24″) and shrink wrapping. The most important factor of this service is the fact that I consciously use only acid free mat board, foam core and linen tape when framing. Also, the only glass available is conservation clear made by TruVue. The moulding is all natural wood that comes in a variety of profiles and types such as: Ash, Cherry, Oak, Poplar, Walnut, all of which can be stained or painted. The mat board comes in only neutral colors and or white and is a Bainbridge product. The moulding selection is modest but this allows me the advantage of streamlining my pricing all the while taking the proper measures in the way of preserving art. If your looking for a clean, contemporary and simple style then my service is a good match for you, I have lowered the typical high margins of a normal frame shop in order to offer great quality at affordable prices. Putting the finishing touches on our fine art pieces is a big part of reassuring that the value is held intact and also that the expression represented lasts a lifetime.
